Nirmala College of Pharmacy is established and administered by the Society of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, Hyderabad. It is a self-financed institution affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, and approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The college started D.Pharmacy in 2004, B.Pharmacy in 2006, M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Analysis) in 2010, M.Pharmacy (Pharmacology) in 2011, and Pharm.D in 2013 with world-class infrastructure.
We aim at promoting the integral human development of pharmacists through inspiration, aspiration, and preparation. Success is the result of dedication and hard work.
So far, 410 D.Pharmacy, 240 B.Pharmacy, and 36 M.Pharmacy students have graduated and are registered pharmacists with the Andhra Pradesh State Pharmacy Council.
Faculty Strength: 30 highly qualified members including 4 Ph.D. holders and several pursuing doctoral research.
Support Staff: 45 dedicated non-teaching and administrative personnel.
The college spans 3.5 acres with a built-up area of over 7,000 sq.m. It features 22 state-of-the-art laboratories, smart classrooms with e-teaching aids, a 600-seat auditorium, and extensive sports facilities.
Girls hostel, CPCSEA-approved animal house, and a computer lab with 65+ systems and high-speed internet are available.
Advanced equipment worth over ₹1.5 crores including HPLC (Shimadzu), UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Brookfield Viscometer, 8-station dissolution apparatus, and more ensure cutting-edge practical training.

In the last academic year alone, our faculty published 25+ research papers in National and 9 in International journals, and filed 2 patents with the Indian Patent Office, Chennai.
