College Profile: Nirmala College of Pharmacy (NCPA) started in the year 2004 by the Congregation (Society) of Catechist Sisters of ST.ANN; Hyderabad, with Diploma (60 seats), B.Pharmacy (60 seats) in 2006 & P.G in 2010 with three Departments(Pharmaceutics(24 seats), Pharmaceutical Analysis(24 seats) and Pharmacology(18 seats). It is a self financed institution, So far 7 (Seven) batches of Diploma students have completed their course with good result and more than 350 students has registered as Pharmacists under Pharmacy Council of Andhra Pradesh.
Two batches of B. Pharmacy has successfully completed their course with 100% results. The College is sprouting day by day under the able guidance of Governing body, Dynamic Principal and well experienced faculty.

News Focus: On the occasion of 50th year of Golden Jubilee Pharmacy Week celebrations 2011 and world Aids day, Nirmala College of Pharmacy has organized a two day Pharma Expo exhibition.On this event the Chief Guest, Mr.G.Ravi Kiran, Unit Head, Manipal Hospital, Tadepalli, Guntur has inaugurated the Exhibition.
Achievements: During this academic year (2011-12) 12 research papers were published and applied for 2 patents and applied for 2 research projects to AICTE.
A Large number of our students has participated in various National Seminars and Conferences such as IPC at Banglore, IPA at Manipal University, APTI and Various National Level and Regional Level, and also presented oral and Posters and won 1st prize in IPA. 1st & 2nd Prizes in national level.
Our students excel in GPAT, top ranks are: 351, 364, 400, 545, many more and 5 students have joined and doing their M.S. programme in NIPER institutions and 28 no's qualifies in PGECET exam.
Awards: Ch.Swetha of fourth year B.Pharmacy bagged first prize in Pharmaceutical Analysis division in Poster Presentation among all the students competed in IPA held at Manipal in 2011-12. Another student (Jyothi) from same college won Second & First prize in Oral Presentation and Poster in Pharmaceutical Chemistry conducted at GITAM University, Vizag and Anurag College of Pharamcy, Kodad, A.P
Our students excelled and won two more prizes in sports events namely Volley Ball and Throw Ball conducted by Vignan University in Vignan Mahostav 2010-11, A.P
Note: We are regularily Conducting NSS Programmes, celebrating Pharmacy week(3rd week of November) and arranging health camps to the village people.

Nirmala college of pharmacy (NCPA) is a Catholic Minority Institution established and administered by the Society of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, Hyderabad, under article 30(1) according to the constitution of India. The management was found in 1918 in Nalgonda Dist., A.P. by Rev. Fr. Silvia Pasquali, PIME to spread the lift to Christ through various activities. The objectives of the Management are the culmination of the vision of its founder to eradicate the poverty, Social injustice, oppression and in\ignorance among rural masses, which is the mission of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann. The management has extended its services to 15 districts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala in India, as well as in Italy and Tanzania of North Africa. It is administer ring 70 Educational Institutions, 11 colleges, 35 hostels, 10 hospitals, 10 social service centers, 1 home for the aged, 65 old age support schemes and 34 charitable projects. There are 45,600 students being catered in these Educational Institutions. The society consists of a large group of members with outstanding social status. The society was established with a great vision to provide quality education on par with global standards to the students from all over India and in particular those from local and rural areas. Society is maintaining high standards so as to make them technologically competent and ethically strong individuals who shall be able to improve the quality of life and economy of our country.
